Tai Chi For Health and Wellness Tai Chi is sometimes called “Meditation in Motion”.
It is way to improve physical and emotional well being. In this class we will be learning a modified version of Sun style Tai Chi. This is a good practice for beginners as well as those with physical challenges. Tai Chi has been shown to reduce chronic pain and improve balance.
This is a non strenuous form of tai chi that is particularly suited for older adults. Younger students can also find great benefit from this program.
Dress in a comfortable manner similar to what you would wear in yoga classes. Unlike yoga, this practice will not involve any floor movements.
This class is open to experienced practitioners as well as beginners.
Master Stuart Bonnington has been teaching tai chi and qigong in the Clarksville area for over ten years. He has been a student of Eastern philosophies for over 50 years. Dr Bonnington is an emeritus professor of psychology at Austin Peay State University where he retired after a 27 year teaching career.
