Alex Wolfe, RYT 200

My name is Alex Wolfe. I'm 24 years old. It's hard for me to describe myself in words because I'm still in the process of discovering who I truly am. I feel most at peace when I'm on my mat, and in between the pages of books. I became a yoga teacher because I wanted to give others what I received from my mat, love and acceptance with no strings attached. Live by the sun, feel by the moon. Namaste ૐ

Alex Wolfe, RYT 200 instructs the following:
  • Hot Yoga
  • Hot yoga classes help the body to benefit from a deeper  detoxifying and cleansing effect on top of the purifying benefits of your regular practice. The heat will make the blood thinner so that the outflow of toxins is more effective through the skin, by sweating, and oxygen is carried throughout the body with ease.  This class is inspired by the Bikram series of hot yoga which uses 26 postures, carefully synchronized, to promote maximum health benefits.  
    The asana flow of this class is suitable for all levels. Class may vary by teacher.
    *Note:  Children under the age of 16 years old are NOT permitted to take our Hot Yoga classes due to insurance restrictions.
    Temperature: 95-102F Humidity: 40%-60%

  • Hot Fusion
  • Sweat, breathe, go with the flow! This fun, flowing class combines postures and sequences from various styles of yoga. With a dynamic flowing sequence of yoga postures linking breath and movement, you’ll cultivate awareness while building core strength and flexibility. Learn ujjayi pranayama breath work. It can get nice and toasty to ensure your muscles are warmed up and ready to stretch. You WILL sweat. This class will offer many incredible benefits including; increased endurance, stamina, strength, and flexibility. The heat aids in warming the body and increasing detoxification through sweat. This class is open to all levels of practitioner. We encourage anyone to try. Keep in mind you might want to take it easy your first several classes as you get used to the heat.
    Heat 90-100 degrees, Humidity 30-40 %

  • New Beginnings
  • We are all beginners! This class is a refreshing class for both beginners and for those with some experience. This class will include basic breathing exercises (pranayama) and foundational poses.  Gentle, basic stretching and strengthening for the entire body with brief resting postures between active poses.  This class will develop a balanced asana practice, improved pranayama, and cultivate a meditative mind to create the space to access your own inner rhythm and heart wisdom.

    This class is beginner-focused, however all levels are welcome.  Class may vary by teacher. Prenatal friendly

    Temperature:  80-85F (Light Heat)

  • Morning Yogi
  • Yoga practiced in the morning can set you up for your day; can give you clarity before life gets in the way. Don't make decisions based on stress, clear the path in front of you with a mind calming and body opening yoga practice. We will attempt to take you within your body, becoming aware of what is going on inside, setting an ear to the door, so to speak. We learn how to listen to and respond to the body, guiding us on the ultimate path to self-care, recovery, and steadiness and equanimity of the mind.

    This class is held in a comfortable setting with a moderate temperature. We practice supporting the body with breath and optional props as we move through the postures. Vinyasa, Static posture, and supported postures have an equal part in this class, with an emphasis on meditation and listening to the body, then following the cues that it gives you.

    *Note: Room temp will vary due to heating up the room in preparation for the Hot Yoga class that follows. Temperature will vary from 85 - 95+ degrees.

  • Finding your Inner Yogi
    This class will help improve posture, balance, stability, and your overall strength with selected postures focusing on building core strength and control while improving coordination and balance.
    We will focus on breath alignment and core integrity  to awaken our muscles to engage our core as we mindfully practice a variety of postures.  
    This class is suitable for all levels. Prenatal Friendly.
    Room Temperature:  70 - 75 degrees
