Shana Thornton is the author of two novels, Poke Sallet Queen & the Family Medicine Wheel (2015) and Multiple Exposure (2012). She is the co-author of the nonfiction, self-help book, Seasons of Balance: On Creativity and Mindfulness. She is the creator of the yoga brand and book series, BreatheYourOMBalance®, and Volume Two of that series is being published with Yoga Mat studio, where she is currently studying to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (2017).
Shana earned an M.A. in English from Austin Peay State University. She was the Editor-in-Chief of Her Circle Ezine, an online women's magazine featuring authors, artists, and activists.
She is the publisher for Thorncraft Publishing (www.thorncraftpublishing.com), an independent publisher of literature written by women. Shana loves to practice yoga outside and run trails in the forest. She has been doing both for over two decades. She lives in Tennessee with her family.
